Acrylic • 50x70 cm • 2021
The Play of Life
When the curtain rose, the human found himself standing on a stage he had not chosen, performing a role whose full script he had never been given. Around him, faces changed, scenes followed one another, applause came at times, and harsh silence came more often.
He believed that mastery lay in pleasing the audience, so he changed his voice and movements until he forgot his own features. As the acts passed, he realized that the stage does not demand perfection, but sincerity and that mistakes are part of the performance, not its end.
