I find myself in the small space within the overlapping circles of these mixtures.
Coming from Yemen, it takes more efforts for a female artist to snatch beauty from the patriarchy, to paint a shiny moon in a dark night and to climb hights with bare feet. As Ghada once announced “Year after year, I learned how to transform, from an Arab woman into winds that cannot be confined by bars.”
What I paint can express even more eloquently than what I say, they tell the whole story (even when they are partially distant from reality).
My name is Reham and welcome to my space of overlapping circles of beauty, escape, reality and fantasy.
